一、教学目标
1、学习生词: crown, gold, emperor, silk, underwear, cheat, nobody, stupid.
2、了解西方童话故事——安徒生所著《皇帝的新装》。
3、训练学生听力技巧:
(1)通过讨论图片来获取听力材料信息,降低听力难度;
(2)通过听来获取需要信息;
(3)通过听来复述故事。
4、情感德育目标:
(1)通过童话故事中皇帝的表现与中国国家主席习近平进行对比,使学生认识共产党的领导才是中国人脱贫致富、过上幸福生活的真正领袖。
(2)通过童话故事教育学生不能过于关注自己的穿着和外表,而应该把有限的时间放在掌握知识上,将来把中国建设成富强的国家。
二、教学重点、难点
1、教学重点:
(1)生词;
(2)通过西方童话故事了解中西方文化差异。
2、教学难点:
(1)听力播放速度较快,如何引导学生快速获取具体信息;
(2)学生表达对穿校服、皇帝表现和习近平主席的对比的看法和观点。
三、教学步骤
Step 1 复习与导入
1、通过图片复习有关衣物名词: T-shirt, sweater, jacket, coat, shorts, jeans, skirt, dress, clothes。
2、询问个别学生最喜欢的衣物:
T: Now we review some pictures about clothes, so what clothes do you like best?
3、展示一张学生穿校服的照片,询问学生对校服的看法和学校要求学生穿校服的原因:
What clothes do they wear?
Do you like to wear school uniforms? Why?/Why not?
Why do we have to wear school uniforms at school?
Step 2 生词与视频
1、通过图片的形式教授本节课生词crown, gold, emperor, silk, underwear, cheat, nobody, stupid,确保学生了解生词读音、词性、意思及基本用法。
2、播放一段简化版的《皇帝的新装》视频,并且讨论以下问题:
1. What’s the name of this story?
2. Who is the main character in the story?

1、引导学生把1a中的4个名词和1c图片中的字母连起来。
Match the words with the letters in the pictures in 1c.

2. Let some students tell their answers. Then check together.

Step 4 1b, 1c
1、听前活动
呈现1c中的5幅图片,引导学生用自己的话来陈述图片内容,确保学生了解故事基本要素:时间、地点、人物、起因、经过和结局。
2、1b 播放听力材料,让学生把5幅图片按故事发展顺序排序。

3、1c 再次播放听力材料,让学生在听力中获取词汇完成句子。因听力语速较快,如果学生无法一遍获取答案,就再次播放录音。

Step 5 复述故事
先让学生朗读1c中的5组句子,再利用图片引导学生复述整个故事。
Step 6 编剧与表演
学生分组活动:4个同学一组,各自挑选1个角色(皇帝、卫兵、围观市民、小男孩),按照模板编写故事最后一幕(高潮部分)中各个角色的台词,组成一个较为完整的小话剧,其中卫兵写的是头脑中思考的内容。然后邀请几个同学进行表演。既增加了课堂的趣味性,也可以加深对故事的理解。

Step 7 采访
采访部分演员:皇帝与小男孩。让学生进一步了解这两个角色的内心变化。

Step 8 情感与德育教育
1、和全班讨论两个问题,引导学生分析皇帝的性格与做法是否符合他作为国家领导人的身份,让学生思考真正的国家领导人应该关注什么:
What do you think of the emperor?
Was the emperor a good emperor?
2、播放一段有关国家主席新年致辞的小视频,再讨论习主席是否是一个合格的领袖,引导学生意识到共产党人带领中国人民过上了幸福生活,培养学生爱党、爱领袖。
3、最后讨论作为中学生应该怎么做,才能成为未来合格的国建设者。

复习本节课生词与故事结构。

1. Retell the story and write it down in your exercise book.
